Mondays I find are the best time to use my crockpot. So this week I made these Apple Butter Ribs. I tried to get a good picture but they were falling off the bone so this is what you get;)
They were a hit with Everybody in the house. Wait just a sec....
.just checking to see if pigs were flying after I said that;)
Here is what you need:
3-4 lbs. pork ribs
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup apple butter
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Rub salt and pepper on ribs. Place in the crock pot. Cover with onions. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over onions. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours
